Shortcut

There are a whole assortment of public footpaths in the local area for me to explore. Most were created by a long gone mining community, which utilised the paths as a shortcut between two points. Now the routes are mainly used by walkers or cyclists for leisure.

This footpath can be found close to Whinney Hill, Cleator Moor. It used to run partway alongside an old railway line connecting Bowthorn to Moor Row. There are a few forks off the route, connecting Crossfield, etc. They're really worth exploring.

For this shot, I opted to use the Aerochrome effect. I hope you like.
